From Your Principal

Welcome to North Elementary where we believe all of our students are natural learners who need engaging and challenging activities, supportive and caring adults, and lots of opportunities to grow, discover, and try again.

Our building is home to approximately 550 students in kindergarten, first and second grade. Our teachers and staff work every day to deliver instruction using best practices and meeting students at their own level of readiness. Our goal is for all students to be at or above grade level expectations in reading and math and to be proficient in the area of writing. In order to meet these goals we provide quality, evidence based core curriculum and instruction. We meet as a team regularly to review student data and prescribe additional support for those who are not meeting goals.

Here at North, we work hard to make our environment welcoming and inclusive for all. We expect a culture of respect, enthusiasm, and kindness. We operate as a team in all of our efforts in and out of the classroom, and we welcome parents and community to be part of our team.
